1 day Alice Springs to Palm Valley Tour
An exciting day of 4WD discovery, of age old panoramic views, relic plants and ancient river systems. Travel west along Larapinta Drive and the MacDonnell Ranges through Owen Springs to the Finke River Gorge, a wide red valley through the Krichauff Ranges. Travelling along the river we access Palm Valley an oasis of rare plants including the Red Cabbage Palm only found in the Finke Gorge National Park. Kalaranga Lookout and Cycad Gorge are a photographer’s paradise. The area is also of significance to the local Aranda people. We visit Hermannsburg, established by the Lutheran Missionaries in 1872 and home to Albert Namatjira the famous water colour artist.

The off road , not taking the Stuart Highway was the most important for us
usually i don’t like tours like this I like to drive myself because that gives me time and organisational managment for pictures etc but this one was really good well organised and lots of opportunities Thanks Great experience !
